Kim Barker Construction Ltd has developed a close working relationship with clients such as Skanska, Costain, Balfour Beatty and Laing O’Rourke, where we are involved often at pre-tender stage and follow projects on through to completion.

The development and use of Wadit(R) clutch sealant has also been progressed by the company and is being extensively used with the approval of the Environment Agency in the landfill and contaminated land industry.

The company has its administrative centre at Whitton, North of Scunthorpe within easy  reach of the  motorway at Scunthorpe  and

only 10 minutes from the Humber Bridge. The storage yard and depot is located at Flixborough near Scunthorpe again not far from the motorway and trunk road connections. We carry an extensive stock of steel beams and walings, piling frames and gates, Kelly legs and walkways for the provision of temporary steel piling gates and cofferdam frames.

We are members of the Civil Engineering Contractors Association and a member of the CITB where we have attained 100% certification in the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). We are also members of the British Safety Council.
