Recently we have completed the temporary and permanent steel sheet piling for the M1 Junctions 6-10 Widening Scheme for Balfour Beatty/Skanska Joint Venture. This section of the motorway is now open.

We have experience using crane barges and working off jack-up barges as well as large land based cranes of up to 280 tonne capacity. The P20 Superferry Terminal for ABP Ltd. at Hull docks had 24 No 34m long 762mm diameter tubular raking piles. We have only recently completed the installation of a cofferdam 62.00m x 21.00m using LX32 sheet piles up to 16m long for the Thameslink 2000 Tunnel at Kings Cross London on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link for the CTRL 103 JV of Kier Nuttall.

M25 - WIDENING JUNCTIONS 16-23 AND 27-30
We are currently undertaking all of the sheet piling works on Section 1 and Section 4 with our joint-venture partner CMP (Commercial Marine and Piling Ltd.), which involves permanent and temporary piling. These works are being carried out to provide the M25 with 4 lanes.

WEYMOUTH RELIEF ROAD
We are currently carrying out piling works for a new relief road into Weymouth which will be ready for the Olympics in 2012.

OLYMPICS 2012
We are currently undertaking temporary cofferdams within the Olympic Park to assist with the Utilities programme for the upcoming Olympics.

M1, JUNCTION 6 – 10, ROAD WIDENING SCHEME
We have completed all of the Steel Sheet requirements on the M1, Junction 6 – 10 road widening scheme.

This includes temporary and permanent works for the bridges/underpasses that are being widened to give the M1 a four lane facility in both directions.
